Hello, Snippeteers and other visitors. I’m currently posting a serialized novel called Fidele. This is a peek from the next chapter, to be posted next Friday. Our hero, Malcolm, is dealing with the death of his mother, a disappointing love affair, and the ghosts who don’t leave him alone.
I had to stop walking and cover my face with my hand. Dad made a distressed sound and patted my back, and I managed to choke out, “I asked him to come with me. I told him I needed him and couldn’t get through this without him. He didn’t come. I don’t know what to do, Daddy.”
Link to chapter one.
