Every year the GoodReads M/M Readers Group does a story exchange called “Don’t Read In the Closet!” My contribution this year is Elevation.
Cruz Morales is the main breadwinner for his family, since his mother left and his father battles depression. When his uncle offers to help him get a job as a security guard in the Wolcott Building, Cruz jumps at the chance for better pay and enough time to study.
All goes well until one of the residents decides he wants to get Cruz’s attention, and the best way to do that is to strip in the private elevators…
